1965: March 11

Didn't go to school till 10:30. People saying how much they liked the play. They all wished me luck for my interview. Went in best suit, (after coming home at 2) for America interview. Didn't think I was good enough. But lo & behold! Dave and I both going !!

1965: March 12

Just beginning to sink in about going to America. Everyone congratulating me on going. Saw Linda at dinner. Very tired in afternoon. Last night of play. Not as good as previously. Mum, Dad and Linda came. Went to party at Spibey's after until 1:30.
